At Stoke Holy Cross Primary School, sustainable development has become part of the life and ethos of our school.  The school has an active committee of children and adults who meet to discuss environmental action for the school.  The whole school and wider community are regularly informed and involved in the environmental activities going on in the school.

In 2004, we joined the Eco-Schools scheme.  Eco-Schools is a Europe wide environmental award scheme which aims to promote and develop sustainability by encouraging schools to work on different environmental and sustainable topics.  Our current topics are: Waste, Transport, Biodiversity and Energy
